Principle Duties and Responsibilities The incumbent will be responsible for the day to day supervision of electricians and other craftsman to achieve challenging and demanding yet rewarding goals. One must be able to work independently with little supervision at times, however must integrate into a project team to be successful. The incumbent will report to the resident engineer, must exhibit good communication skills with all levels of employees and management, and be required to perform the following, but certainly not all inclusive tasks Proficient with electrical and piping drawings, making modifications when necessary, and providing red-line as built drawings to corporate engineering upon completion of a project. Programming and troubleshooting Allen-Bradley ControlLogix PLC programs, Kenetix motion drives, Ethernet and Sercos networks, and RSView HMI software. Consult with corporate engineers for direction and assistance with issues relating to the electrical installation and programming of sophisticated machines. Research bills of materials and sources for parts and equipment required for deadlines. Enter requisitions and track parts ordered to insure on time delivery. Manage multiple projects simultaneously to assure that they stay on track with the project plan. Manage contract and union employees effectively to achieve the highest quality of workmanship. Job Requirements: BSEE or BSEET electrical engineering degree with prior project experience using Allen-Bradley ControlLogix platform. Proficiency with 480 Volt 3-Phase distribution and induction motors. Servo control design and programming a definite plus. Microsoft Office, Excel, Access, Powerpoint, and Lotus Notes is also desirable. This is a 12-18 month job assigment
